After white smoke puffed out of the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, we quickly learned that German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was named the 265th Pope and chose the name Benedict XVI. Rosa Parks Up 200%

This year will mark the 50th anniversary of Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her seat to a white man on a bus in segregated Montgomery, Alabama. Her act of bravery, many historians say, marked the beginning of the civil rights movement. The hip-hop Grammy-winning duo Outkast has finally reached a settlement with the civil rights icon over the use of Parks' name in a song. As part of the out-of-court settlement reached between both parties, Andre 3000 and Big Boi will record a song for a tribute album and play a part in a upcoming television special on Parks.

The Lycos 50 called out the young stud, Chad Michael Murray as One To Watch in 2003 following a surge of web activity and named him the next heartthrob. Well ladies, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray, co-stars of the TV series One Tree Hill, have tied the knot. They were married Saturday in a seaside ceremony at the Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Gran Turismo 4 Up 100%

Sony's PS2, Gran Turismo 4 was the best selling game in the U.S. for the past two months and doesn't look like it's gonna slow down. You can thank Gran Turismo for making video games cool back in the day when it was the thing that pimply teenagers did on a lonely Saturday night. This was also one of the first types of games that brought a whole new audience to gaming; namely 'pimp-my-ride viewers'. This racing game has once again proved that there is a little 'Jeff Gordon' in all of us.
